Job summary

Bain Capital Real Estate is seeking a Manager to lead accounting and reporting for investment funds and direct real estate investments. You will partner with Legal, Tax, Investment, Compliance, Asset Management, Investor Relations, Capital Markets, and Portfolio Analytics to ensure accurate financial insight.

Manage quarterly closes, complex transactions, and fund-vehicle accounting within the REIS framework.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of relevant accounting experience within real estate (preferably at a real estate investment manager).
• Bachelor of Science in Accounting; CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of real estate valuation, portfolio operations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing fund-level quarterly and annual financial reporting, including Yardi-based US GAAP reporting.
• Analyzing promote and management fee calculations and complex transactions.
• Coordinate with fund administrator and external auditors on annual audits.
• Provide coaching to junior staff and drive process improvements, including AI enablement.
