Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Finance Manager-Real Estate in Boston, MA to oversee fund-level quarterly and annual reporting, including U.S. GAAP fair value calculations, and to provide insight on complex transactions and capital movements.

You will partner with Legal, Tax, Investment, and Asset Management teams to ensure timely, accurate financial information and to drive process improvements across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of relevant accounting experience in real estate.
• Bachelor of Science in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of real estate valuation, portfolio operations and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing fund-level quarterly and annual financial reporting, including Yardi-based fair value U.S. GAAP reporting, through review of underlying workpapers and investment activity.
• Analyzing and reviewing promote and management fee calculations, including non-recurring transactions such as ownership transfers and complex sales.
• Analyzing investment and fund activities to ensure compliance with governing documents.
• Researching current industry guidance and its applicability to the real estate portfolio.
