AYR Wellness, Inc. is seeking a Director of Real Estate to lead our multi-market site strategy, evaluating opportunities and negotiating leases across states.

You will build and manage a robust site pipeline aligned to licensing timelines, oversee brokerage partners, and coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to optimize occupancy costs. The role requires ownership of the lease portfolio, strong financial modeling, and extensive cross-functional collaboration to advance openings on time

Formación

• 8+ years of progressive commercial real estate experience in multi-market expansion.
• Experience negotiating LOIs and leases; partner with legal counsel.
• Familiarity with zoning, land use, and permitting in regulated industries.
• Strong financial modeling for site-level analyses (MPV, occupancy cost).
• Excellent executive communication and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead market evaluation for new locations using defined site criteria.
• Build a multi-state site pipeline aligned to licensing timelines.
• Direct brokerage partners to identify properties meeting criteria.
• Coordinate with Facilities on power, water, and logistics.
• Own Ayr’s lease portfolio and landlord relationships.
• Lead deal execution from LOI to signed lease; manage risk with Legal and Finance.
• Monitor budget, occupancy costs, and store openings; report pipeline status.
• Travel up to 50% for site visits and negotiations.
