Job summary

Lifestyle Communities seeks a Real Estate Development Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of residential/multi-family and mixed-use projects. You will work with internal teams and external consultants to deliver projects on scope, budget, and schedule.

Responsible for zoning, permits, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and community collaboration to drive successful development across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, urban planning, architecture, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of real estate experience, preferably with multifamily, retail, and/or mixed-use projects.
• Ability to oversee the entire lifecycle of a project from concept through completion and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee zoning, title, environmental due diligence, and other obstacles to development.
• Coordinate with consultants and municipalities; report progress to principals.
• Collaborate with legal, development, construction, finance, and external partners to mitigate project risks.
• Identify and implement creative or alternative development approaches to reduce risk and improve schedules.
• Manage entitlement processes, permits, regulatory compliance, and community development actions for successful project completion.
• Monitor progress; identify risks; implement mitigation to meet budgets and timelines.
• Develop business cases with internal partners and manage deals across markets.
• Ensure standardized reporting, filing, and scheduling throughout the development process.
• Assist with project scheduling and interface with public sector clients and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and sustainable development practices.
