We seek a Development Associate to drive underwriting, sourcing, and execution of development projects.

The role reports to the Chief Development Officer, offering high visibility, responsibility, and growth in a fast-paced platform with cross-market opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field is required.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate or investment-related roles preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and underwriting skills with advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial underwriting across multiple asset classes.
• Conduct due diligence on development and acquisition opportunities.
• Perform market analysis and maintain comparable data sets.
• Support capital stack structuring and investor/lender coordination.
• Analyze returns under dynamic market conditions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Review contracts and deal documentation for enforcement and accuracy.
• Execute business strategy during the development timeline.
• Collaborate with construction teams on financial impacts like draws and change orders.
• Create reporting tools and dashboards to track financial performance.
• Source and evaluate new deal opportunities across markets.
• Interface with capital partners, lenders, and third-party stakeholders.
• Monitor investment-level financial performance and property management results.
