Job summary

Bellwether is seeking an Associate, Debt to support the asset management team overseeing a portfolio of commercial real estate debt investments. You will evaluate property performance, present recommendations to senior management, and mentor junior staff in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

The role collaborates with investment teams in origination, underwriting and execution of debt opportunities across office, industrial, hotel, retail and residential sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant asset management experience preferred; client-facing experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and management of a portfolio of debt investments across asset types.
• Develop and maintain asset-level cash flow reforecasting models.
• Manage draw review process for assets with construction or significant renovations.
• Guide analysts in maintaining asset- and portfolio-reporting models.
• Underwrite asset classes using Excel-based models, including cash flow and IRR.
