Selby Jennings seeks a Debt Asset Management Associate to join our Miami real estate debt platform, handling day-to-day asset management of a diversified CRE loan portfolio across multifamily, industrial, office, retail and more.

The role focuses on loan performance monitoring, borrower relationships, market analysis, and support for workouts, modifications, and capital events. Strong knowledge of real estate finance, underwriting, credit analysis, and CRE fundamentals is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate debt asset management, underwriting, credit analysis, loan servicing, lending, or real estate investment management.
• Strong knowledge of CRE finance and lending structures.
• Experience reviewing property financial statements, rent rolls, leasing reports, and borrower reporting packages.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of performing and transitional CRE loans across major property sectors.
• Monitor borrower reporting, property operating statements, rent rolls, leasing reports, and business plans.
• Analyze loan performance against underwriting assumptions and identify emerging risks.
• Maintain asset-level reporting and loan surveillance documentation.
• Track covenant compliance, reserve balances, maturity schedules, and key credit metrics.
• Prepare quarterly and annual asset reviews highlighting performance trends and risks.
• Coordinate with sponsors, borrowers, operating partners, legal counsel, servicers, and lenders.
• Support loan restructurings, extensions, modifications, and recapitalizations.
• Develop reporting for senior management, investors, and lending partners.
