Job summary

H&P Executive Search is seeking an experienced Real Estate Counsel to serve as a key legal adviser to support the company's growing real estate portfolio. This role partners closely with executive leadership, real estate, construction, and business teams to negotiate and manage complex real estate and leasing transactions that drive growth.

The ideal candidate holds a JD from an accredited law school, is admitted to at least one state bar, and has 6+ years of commercial real estate law

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one state bar.
• 6+ years of legal experience with a focus on commercial real estate and leasing.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial real estate agreements.
• Handle retail leases, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Draft easement and reciprocal easement agreements.
• Prepare purchase and sale agreements.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to internal stakeholders on real estate transactions.
• Support growth strategy through negotiation and execution of lease and development transactions.

OurclientisseekinganexperiencedRealEstateCounseltoserveasakeylegaladvisortosupporttheirgrowingrealestateportfolio.Thisroleoffersanexcitingopportunitytopartnercloselywithexecutiveleadership,realestate,construction,andbusinessteamstonegotiateandmanagecomplexrealestateandleasingtransactionsthatsupportsthecompany'sgrowthobjectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft,review,negotiate,andmanageawiderangeofcommercialrealestateagreements,including:
• Retailleases,Acquisitions,Dispositions
• Easementagreements
• Reciprocaleasementagreements(REAs)
• Purchaseandsaleagreements
• Providelegalcounselandstrategicguidancetointernalstakeholdersonrealestatetransactionsandportfoliomanagement.
• Supportthecompany'srealestategrowthstrategythroughefficientnegotiationandexecutionofleaseanddevelopmenttransactions.

Qualifications

• 6+yearsoflegalexperiencewithsignificantfocusoncommercialrealestateandleasing(eitherin-houseorlaw-firm).
