Job summary

Winstead PC is seeking a 3–5 year transactional attorney to support a sophisticated real estate development and construction portfolio across multiple states. The role focuses on drafting and negotiating design and construction agreements, owner/contractor and owner/architect agreements, subcontracts, project management agreements, and related professional service agreements.

The ideal candidate will have strong academics, excellent legal writing and client communication skills, and experience

• Prior experience drafting and negotiating design and construction agreements (owner/contractor, owner/architect).
• Subcontracts, project management agreements, and professional service agreements.
• Strong academics and writing skills for complex legal drafting and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate design and construction agreements for high-value developments.
• Coordinate risk allocation and contract strategy across multi-state projects.
• Advise clients on regulatory and contractual risk in real estate transactions.
