Job summary

Holliday Ingram in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a dedicated Closing Paralegal to prepare real estate documents under the Closing Attorney, ensure timely closings, and coordinate with lenders and buyers. You will manage files in the database, balance CD statements with lenders, prepare ALTA settlement statements, and communicate with all parties using Qualia Connect, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all closing documents in accordance with South Carolina law under supervision.
• Balance the closing disclosure (CD) with lender instructions.
• Prepare ALTA settlement statements.
• Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents and lenders.
• Record and disburse funds at closing as required.
• Ensure timely closings by reviewing open files and documents.
• Collaborate with the lender on closing instructions and funding.
