Job summary

JLL is seeking an Associate in Capital Markets in Chicago, IL, to support commercial real estate transactions. You will perform financial modeling, market analysis, and prepare offering memorandums while coordinating due diligence and client communications.

Responsibilities include developing financing strategies, reviewing real estate documents, and building industry relationships through meetings and events. This in-person role offers growth within a leading real estate advisory team at JLL.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in a financial analysis environment.
Mortgage or commercial real estate industry experience preferred.
Strong writing and communication skills; ability to present data clearly.

Responsibilities

Prepare property offering packages with research, financial modeling and executive summaries.
Perform complex financial modeling of CRE transactions using market data and comps.
Manage due diligence and coordinate marketing/closing processes with Producer, market, and client.
Analyze data to aid clients in business plan and capital strategy decisions.
Review real estate documents (leases, loans, appraisals) for potential issues.
Develop financing alternatives and build client network through events.
Participate in weekly deal flow discussions and reviews.
