Job summary

JLL is seeking a college junior for an internship in the Capital Markets group in Chicago. You will work with analysts to drive investments and acquisitions, assisting with market research, lease analysis, and due diligence to support client decisions.

The role offers hands-on experience in market research, valuation tools, and marketing materials, with a chance to interact with internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently a college/university junior, graduating in Summer 2028.
• Permanent US work authorization.
• Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with a team-player attitude.
• Ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with market research by analyzing market information, statistics, demographics, and traffic counts.
• Support the valuation of current and proposed listings using Argus and Excel.
• Review and summarize leases by preparing lease abstracts.
• Assist in the due diligence process for transactions.
• Help design and prepare marketing materials, including teasers and offering memorandums, by creating charts and other graphics.
• Provide data on rent rolls, demographics, and tenant profiles.
