Job summary

Colliers in Brentwood, CA is seeking an in-office internship for students pursuing Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields. You will gain hands-on exposure to the commercial real estate business, assisting with market research, property marketing, client deliverables, and database management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This 2–3 day per week role requires organization, professionalism, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate through coursework or activities.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels of the organization.
• Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, product quality, or attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about the commercial real estate industry.

Responsibilities

• Gather sales and rent comparables.
• Assist with preparing Offering Memorandums and Broker Opinions of Value.
• Support property marketing efforts, including preparing property marketing write-ups.
• Maintain company databases to track prospects and business opportunities.
• Create, format, print, and bind proposals, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Participate in team and client meetings, bringing a positive attitude and eagerness to learn the business.
• As you demonstrate proficiency in your core responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to take on stretch assignments and expand your role within the business.
