Job summary

Colliers International in Brentwood, CA, is offering an in-office internship with a 2–3 day per week commitment. You will assist the Brokerage team with market research, property marketing, and client deliverables while gaining hands-on exposure to the commercial real estate business.

Strong organizational skills and a client-service mindset are essential. You will also help maintain databases, prepare memorandums and proposals, and participate in meetings.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate through coursework or activities.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
• High level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality or accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn about the commercial real estate industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with market research, property marketing, client deliverables, database management and related activities.
• Gather sales and rent comparables for the team.
• Prepare Offering Memorandums and Broker Opinions of Value.
• Support property marketing efforts, including writing property marketing write-ups.
• Maintain company databases to track prospects and opportunities.
• Create, format, print, and bind proposals, presentations and other client deliverables.
• Participate in team and client meetings with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Who you are

You are a current student with a strong interest in commercial real estate who is ready to join our dynamic Brokerage team in Brentwood, CA. You're highly organized and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring a high standard of quality in everything you do. You bring a client service-oriented attitude and thrive in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.

You will assist with market research, property marketing, client deliverables, database management, and other activities that provide hands-on exposure to the commercial real estate business. You thrive in an environment where no two days are the same. You also love to learn, collaborate, and exchange ideas with others to achieve amazing results.

This is an in-office internship requiring approximately 2-3 days per week, depending on your school schedule.

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• Ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels of the organization and with external partners.

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about the commercial real estate industry.

Bonus skills and experience

• Previous experience working within a real estate or professional services environment.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign.
• Currently active real estate license is a plus but not required.

Approximate Compensation for this Role: $18.42/hour.
