Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking a California-licensed attorney to join our commercial real estate practice in Sacramento. This on-site, full-time role focuses on sophisticated CRE transactions for developers, investors, lenders, and tenants, with substantial client interaction and long-term relationship building.

The attorney will draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents, perform due diligence, and coordinate closings.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license.
• 4+ years of concentrated commercial real estate transactional experience.
• Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and related transactional matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong client communication and relationship management abilities.
• In-house commercial real estate experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial lease agreements.
• Structure and document financing transactions.
• Draft partnership, joint venture, and operating agreements.
• Perform legal due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions.
• Coordinate closings and manage transactional timelines.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to developers, investors, lenders, and commercial clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex real estate and business matters.
