HIA Group in Philadelphia seeks a mid-to-senior Real Estate Associate to join an international law firm with a broad transactional platform. You will handle sophisticated real estate matters across acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing and leasing, with meaningful client exposure.

The role requires strong drafting, research and communication skills and the ability to manage matters independently while taking ownership of workstreams in a team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in transactional real estate.
• Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
• Experience at a leading law firm preferred, but strong candidates from boutique or mid-sized practices will be considered.
• Comfortable managing matters independently and taking ownership of transaction workstreams.
• Commercially minded, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Advising on complex commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
• Representing developers, investors, lenders and other stakeholders on real estate development projects.
• Advising on real estate financing and related transactional matters.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and associated documentation.
• Exposure to land use and zoning matters.
• Managing discrete matters and taking ownership of workstreams on larger transactions.
• Working directly with clients, opposing counsel and other transaction stakeholders.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's broader corporate, finance and real estate practices.
