Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
• 3-6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
• Experience with real estate acquisitions and dispositions, real estate finance, and commercial leasing.
• Transactional due diligence experience.
• Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and transaction-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assume significant individual responsibility while working collaboratively within a deal team.
• High level of academic achievement.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate documents relating to acquisitions and dispositions, real estate financings, and commercial leasing.
• Conduct and manage transactional due diligence.
• Review title, survey, organizational, and other property-related diligence materials.
• Assist with transaction structuring and negotiations.
• Coordinate transaction closings and manage closing deliverables.
• Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, title companies, and other participants.
• Manage multiple sophisticated transactions and deadlines.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and attorneys across related practice areas.
