Sheppard is seeking a mid‑level associate attorney to join our real‑estate team in New York. Ideal candidates will have substantive experience in a variety of areas, including:

• Lender‑side financing — drafting and negotiating loan documents, reviewing and analyzing title commitments and underlying documents, surveys, opinion letters, leases, and zoning reports.
• Purchase and sale transactions — drafting and negotiating contracts of sale, overseeing due diligence, preparing closing documents, and handling transaction oversight and logistics, including the review and negotiation of borrower‑side loan documents.
• Leasing — preparing and negotiating commercial leases (landlord and tenant side).
