The role involves representing lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, and business owners in a broad range of commercial real estate and related business transactions.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• NJ Bar admission required; New York Bar admission is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions, including commercial lending and financing matters.
• Experience representing lenders, financial institutions, borrowers, developers and investors preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, organizational and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, financing agreements, and development-related contracts.
• Represent lenders and borrowers in commercial financing transactions, including acquisition, construction, bridge, and permanent financing matters.
• Conduct due diligence, review title and survey materials, and assist with transaction structuring.
• Manage commercial real estate closings from inception through post-closing.
• Advise clients on zoning, land use, permitting, title, and regulatory matters.
• Assist with business and transactional matters related to real estate ownership, development, and investment activities.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas on complex commercial transactions.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary:$170,000-$225,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Final salary reflects your skills, experience, and contributions.
