Our client is a leading international law firm in San Francisco seeking a 2nd-4th year Real Estate Associate to join its Real Estate Practice. The role focuses on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions for developers, lenders, investment funds, REITs, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
  • 2-4 years of commercial real estate experience.
  • Experience handling acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Joint venture matters experience is a plus.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.
  • Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions involving various asset classes.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, and ancillary transaction documents.
  • Support joint venture and real estate development matters.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and assist with transaction management.
  • Coordinate closings and assist with all phases of real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across related practice areas to provide comprehensive client service.
  • Manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-to-midlevel real estate attorney to work on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions for a diverse client base that includes developers, lenders, investment funds, REITs, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors.
