Job Overview:
A leading full-service law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its commercial real estate practice. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, and development. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile matters in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with significant client interaction and responsibility.

Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in complex commercial real estate transactions
  • Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, including:
    • Purchase and sale agreements
    • Joint venture agreements
    • Development agreements
  • Conduct due diligence, review titles and surveys, and coordinate closings
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams throughout all transaction phases
  • Take on substantial project responsibilities and contribute to strategic planning

Requirements:

  • 3–6 years of experience in commercial real estate law
  • Background in acquisitions, dispositions, finance, joint ventures, and development
  • Ability to manage projects independently within a team environment
  • Experience in a large law firm setting preferred
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume practice

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Strong academic credentials

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California Bar
  • In good standing with relevant licensing authorities
