Job summary

Lester Shaw & Levy LLP in New York City is seeking a mid-level or senior real estate associate to join our growing team. You will handle real estate transactions across acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing with ownership from start to finish and direct client contact.

We offer a $200,000–$250,000 base salary plus discretionary bonuses, a lower annual billable-hour target, comprehensive benefits, unlimited PTO, 11 holidays, and a hybrid in-office schedule three days per

Qualifications

• 4+ years of transactional real estate experience.

Position Description – Real Estate Associate

LSL is seeking a mid-level or senior real estate associate.

The ideal candidate should be experienced in at least three of the following areas, and interested in gaining experience in others:

• Real property acquisitions and dispositions (“dirt work”)
• Commercial leasing
• Condominiums and cooperatives (formation, buy-sell)
• Construction, design and other professional contracts
• Mortgage and mezzanine financing

What you bring to the table

• 4+ years of transactional real estate experience
• Admitted to the New York bar, or able to gain admission in New York through waiver/UBE transfer from another U.S. jurisdiction
• Ability to take ownership and run a transaction from start through completion
• Proactive and entrepreneurial attitude, with an eye on taking initiative
• Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
• Creative and practical lawyering

• $200,000 – $250,000 base salary, plus
