Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group (UIG) in Dallas seeks an Associate to join the Real Estate team. You will assist in managing a portfolio of real estate equity, debt and LIHTC investments, focus on value creation, reporting and market analysis.

The role emphasizes financial modelling, asset plans, and collaboration with operating partners to drive performance and compliant execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Strong academic background in finance, real estate, accounting or math preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of real estate experience.
• Advanced real estate modelling skills with Excel; experience with Argus a plus.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present strategies clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support senior asset management team to manage Real Estate Equity, Debt, LICs and LIHTC investments.
• Assist with operating, maximizing value and reporting on assets.
• Prepare asset valuation models, business plans and monthly cash flow projections.
• Support leasing strategy, budgets, and monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Coordinate with operating partners, brokers and property management teams.
• Develop asset strategy in collaboration with AM leadership and partners.
• Oversee debt strategies and disposition efforts when needed.
• Monitor covenants and market trends impacting investments.
