Kaman & Cusimano LLC in Cleveland seeks an associate attorney to support its Real Estate/Litigation practice. The attorney will handle assessment recovery matters, money judgments, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and other property issues while maintaining substantial client contact and public speaking responsibilities.

Requirements include admission to the Ohio Bar and 0–5 years of relevant litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Ohio.
• 0-5 years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental organizations in litigation based civil matters.
• Must be available during business hours, as well as some evenings and weekends for client meetings.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent personal skills.
• Prior work experience must demonstrate dedication and hard work.

Responsibilities

• Handle matters related to assessment recovery, money judgments, bankruptcy, judgment execution, foreclosure, and other real property issues.
• Significant client contact and public speaking are expected.
• Lead client meetings and manage assigned cases with a diverse caseload.
• Prepare complaints, discovery, depositions, and trial materials as part of the litigation process.
