Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an intern for Appraisal & Consulting to join the West Des Moines office for a full-time temporary internship beginning in June 2027. This paid internship supports commercial real estate professionals on appraisal, consulting, and valuation management projects on a national scale.

You will learn commercial real estate research, data gathering, the three approaches to value, assist with appraisal reports, coordinate reviews, and track quarterly processes.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Accounting, or Finance.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist valuations and appraisal reviews and manage workflow to on-time deliveries.
• Support portfolio valuations and large consulting engagements.
• Coordinate with market participants, clients and colleagues.
• Review third-party appraisal reports and analyze property data.
• Develop appraisal and consulting deliverables and reports.
• Work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Track the end-to-end workflow and related processes.
