Real Estate and Transactions Associate

Boston law firm Krokidas & Bluestein LLP, a premier boutique firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to expand the firm’s mission-oriented transactional practice. The firm's lender clients include major financial institutions, community development financial institutions, and nonprofit loan funds.Its borrower clients include charter schools, health and human services organizations, and other nonprofit and public organizations. We are a full-service firm for the clients we serve.

Qualified candidates will have five to seven years of experience in real estate and transactional work with a focus on nonprofit community development preferred. Experience with title, land use permitting, design and construction contracts, condominiums, and affordable housing is a plus. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with top-notch academic credentials, excellent writing skills, a superior work ethic, the ability to think strategically, and the desire to undertake complex transactions. Massachusetts bar membership or the ability to waive in is required.

As a member of the firm’s real estate and transactions group, the attorney will have the opportunity to engage in a full range of transactional legal work, including borrower and lender representation in construction and permanent financing, landlord and tenant representation, asset and equity acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, and other organizational restructuring.

The compensation range for this position, which will be determined based on a candidate’s relevant experience and productivity, is $130,000 to $175,000.
