Job summary

The Carlyle Group’s U.S. Real Estate team seeks a 2-Year Analyst to support financial analysis, reporting, process improvement, and technology initiatives across the portfolio. You will apply strong Excel skills and AI tools to translate business needs into practical solutions.

You’ll work with the U.S. Real Estate team and software developers to test functionality, build models, and deliver analyses on valuations, debt, acquisitions, and fund performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, business, data analytics, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong academic record; GPA of at least 3.5 preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, consulting, reporting, data analytics, real estate, or technology-enabled process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support recurring reporting across the U.S. Real Estate portfolio, including valuations, asset-level operating performance, debt, dispositions, acquisition activity, and fund-level performance.
• Build, maintain, and analyze Excel-based financial and data models.
• Analyze quarter-over-quarter changes in investment performance and valuations to identify the drivers behind those changes.
• Aggregate, validate, and reconcile information from investment teams, financial models, and reporting systems.
• Prepare analyses, presentations, and reporting materials for senior management.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial, operational, and investment-related analyses.
