Carlyle Group's U.S. Real Estate team in Washington, DC, invites a 2-Year Analyst to join the reporting and technology initiative.

You will support financial analysis, valuations, and portfolio reporting, leveraging Excel, data analytics, and AI tooling to automate recurring processes. Working with a cross-functional team, you translate business needs into technical requirements, test solutions with software developers, and help implement new functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, business, data analytics, or CS; GPA 3.5+ preferred.
• 1-2 years in financial analysis, accounting, reporting, data analytics, real estate, or tech-enabled process improvement.
• Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and data modeling.
• Experience using AI tools to support analysis or automation.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and test solutions.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented thinking and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support recurring reporting across the U.S. Real Estate portfolio including valuations and asset-level performance.
• Build and maintain Excel-based financial and data models; analyze QoQ changes.
• Aggregate and reconcile information from investment teams and reporting systems.
• Develop dashboards and analyses for senior management; support ad hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with software developers to translate requirements and test solutions.
