Responsibilities

This role involves diverse duties within a dynamic real estate firm, primarily focusing on project management, investment and financial modeling, property underwriting, performance analysis, research, and supporting the Multifamily operations team. The position supports various aspects of real estate investment, including building, operating, leasing, asset management, financing, and disposition.

  • Analyze development and acquisition projects using Excel models.
  • Support property management team members.
  • Review and report on assumptions, including underwriting, proforma, and valuation for projects.
  • Attend site visits, market/property tours, and meetings with developers/owners.
  • Research and execute development-related projects.
  • Analyze and interpret property financial data.
  • Participate in budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Research market data and incorporate findings into projections.
  • Create and modify templates, prepare correspondence.
  • Research builders, clients, vendors, and investment partners.
  • Model property and fund cash flows using Excel.
  • Maintain financial models and forecasts for acquisitions and dispositions; present findings.
  • Calculate investment returns for various scenarios.
  • Model leasing, financing, and buy/sell scenarios.
  • Attend site visits, tours, and meetings with brokers, contractors, and owners.
  • Summarize property and investment activity for stakeholders.
  • Maintain communication with team and interested parties.
  • Assist Vice Presidents with financial analyses.
  • Manage development and acquisition pipelines using Excel and mapping software.
  • Research regional market trends on rent, employment, permits, and supply/demand.
  • Support other projects like acquisitions, budgets, fee analyses.
  • Conduct due diligence on rent, expenses, utilities, taxes, pre-development fees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field (required).

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
