Job description

Company Description Midwood Homes is a Texas-based real estate brokerage specializing in residential property management, asset preservation, and traditional buy/sell services. The firm emphasizes long-term real estate stewardship, helping clients and licensed agents treat properties as strategic assets rather than one-time transactions. Services include leasing strategy, tenant placement, property oversight, income optimization, and portfolio planning for individual homes and growing real estate holdings. Midwood Homes also represents buyers and sellers across the Dallas-Fort Worth area with data-driven advice on acquisitions, pricing, marketing, negotiations, and transaction management. Every recommendation is aligned with clients’ broader financial goals, including multigenerational planning and coordination with financial, tax, legal, and estate professionals.
Role Description The Real Estate Agent role at Midwood Homes is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with a mix of in-person client work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include representing buyers and sellers in residential transactions, conducting property showings, preparing and presenting offers, and managing the contract-to-close process. The agent will support clients with leasing strategy, tenant placement, and basic property management guidance, while helping them understand long-term ownership and cash-flow opportunities. The role involves conducting market analysis, advising on pricing and marketing strategies, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transaction details. The agent is expected to build and maintain strong client relationships, respond promptly to inquiries, and collaborate with the brokerage team to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Qualifications

  • Active Texas Real Estate License and solid knowledge of residential real estate regulations and practices.
  • Experience in Real Estate and Real Property transactions, including buyer/seller representation and basic property management.
  • Strong Sales and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to conduct market analysis, interpret local housing trends, and advise clients on pricing, marketing, and investment potential.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, including local travel for showings and client meetings.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with real estate CRM platforms and standard office software.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for client appointments and transactions.
  • Prior experience in residential property management or investment real estate is beneficial.
