Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Principal to join and lead our Real Estate Advisory Team within the Financial Advisory Services Group in Dallas. This senior, market-facing leader will originate opportunities, expand client relationships, and guide complex advisory engagements across the real estate life cycle.

The role requires deep real estate expertise, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across advisory, tax, and risk services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, business or accounting.
• Typically 15+ years of progressive real estate advisory or related experience.
• Proven track record in originating work and leading complex engagements.
• Deep understanding of real estate investment fundamentals and capital markets.
• Strong leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex real estate advisory engagements with responsibility for scope, quality, and outcomes.
• Originate opportunities and expand client relationships in real estate markets.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams across advisory, valuation, tax and risk to deliver solutions.
• Develop professionals and promote collaboration, accountability and client service.
• Support practice strategy, go-to-market, and resource management.
