Fresh Start Home Services is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own the monthly close for multiple entities and lead a virtual accounting team. The role is part-time (10–20 hours/week) reporting to the COO/Director of Operations in a hybrid Houston setting.

You will ensure books are accurate, reconciled, and tax-ready year-round, delivering timely reports to leadership and the outside CPA while identifying issues early and driving process improvements.

Competenze

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including owning a monthly close.
• Multi-entity accounting experience with intercompany activity and consolidated reporting.
• Strong fixed assets and depreciation knowledge.
• Experience reviewing and correcting other people's work.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online and strong Excel skills.

Mansioni

• Own the monthly close across all entities and hit the close deadline.
• Lead the virtual accounting team and review work before finalization.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts monthly across all books.
• Maintain property assets, depreciation, and refinance activity.
• Keep books tax-ready year-round with outside CPA.
• Deliver regular financial reporting to leadership and CPA.
