Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a Controller / Accounting Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting, cash flow tracking, financial accuracy, and internal controls across multiple related companies and real estate entities. You will manage an accounting team and drive improvements in systems.

The role requires hands-on management of capital plans, with strong experience using Yardi Breeze Premier and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Experience in Controller/Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager roles or similar.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, ledgers, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience managing accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, and multi-entity workflows.

Responsibilities

• Track cash flow and execution of capital plans across entities.
• Oversee accounting operations and internal controls across multiple companies and real estate entities.
• Lead and coach accounting staff, ensuring deadlines and accuracy expectations.
• Coordinate with CPAs and third-party bookkeepers for monthly closes.
• Maintain and monitor check registers, bank accounts, and intercompany balances.
