Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a Real Estate Accounting Manager to oversee accounting, financial reporting, property accounting, lease administration, and investor reporting for its real estate portfolio.

The role partners with leadership and operations to provide accurate financial information and drive scalable processes. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in real estate accounting, deep GAAP knowledge, and strong leadership.

Formación

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in commercial real estate, property accounting, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting systems proficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly close activities for real estate entities and properties.
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and schedules for accuracy.
• Ensure proper accounting for real estate transactions and financing activities.
• Prepare property-level financial reports and management dashboards.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Manage tenant billing, AR, and collections; oversee lease accounting.
• Coordinate investor reporting and respond to inquiries.
