Greystar’s Corporate Accounting Internship offers hands-on experience supporting accounting and financial reporting within a global real estate organization. Interns work with the Corporate Accounting team on financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, budgeting, and other processes while gaining practical insight into how accounting supports Greystar’s business.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Interest in accounting, financial reporting, and real estate.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to organize work, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and contribute as part of a collaborative team.

Responsabilités

• Support the preparation and analysis of financial information, financial statements, and accounting reports.
• Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Review financial data, invoices, expenses, and other accounting documentation for accuracy and help research discrepancies.
• Support monthly accounting and financial reporting processes.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and other cash-related accounting activities.
• Help prepare financial reports, schedules, and analyses for internal teams and management.
• Gain exposure to accounting processes related to Greystar’s real estate investments, development activities, and corporate operations.
• Partner with accounting team members and other departments to gather information and support ongoing projects.
• Participate in special projects and other accounting initiatives throughout the internship.
