ClearpointCo. is seeking a Director of Accounting in Houston, TX to lead the accounting teams responsible for financial reporting of operating properties.

You will drive GAAP compliance, policy development, and internal controls while partnering with stakeholders to support real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and budgeting. The role requires CPA, 7+ years of accounting experience including at least 3 years in leadership, ERP expertise (Oracle/SAP), advanced Excel, and Power BI to improve

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional accounting experience required with at least 3+ years in a leadership position.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP) and high Excel proficiency; knowledge of BI tools.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting for real estate acquisitions and dispositions; coordinate with Real Estate Investments, Finance, and Legal.
• Oversee monthly internal reporting for operating property revenue and expenses.
• Mentor four managers and staff; promote a supportive work environment.
• Ensure US GAAP compliance and internal controls; support Form 10-Q/10-K disclosures.
