Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking an Accounting Associate to join a growing real estate investment team. This role supports financial reporting and accounting processes for a portfolio of residential properties, working closely with the Controller and property management teams.

Hybrid schedule (onsite 2x/month). Compensation is 80,000-90,000 annually, with opportunity to grow in real estate accounting within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; real estate or residential property accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience with Yardi, JD Edwards, RealPage, or similar systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review third-party financial reporting packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform monthly income statement and balance sheet reviews.
• Evaluate accruals and monitor timely payment of debt service, taxes, and insurance.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting packages.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and internal teams.
• Assist with budget imports, trial balance mapping, and financial system uploads.
• Support special projects and process improvements as needed.
