Job summary

A growing real estate organization is seeking a dynamic Accountant to manage financial operations in Crofton, Maryland. This hybrid position offers $70,000 - $85,000 annually and is ideal for detail-oriented professionals. Responsibilities include managing financial records, ensuring GAAP compliance, and overseeing accounting functions. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, have at least 2 years of relevant experience, and possess strong analytical and communication skills, particularly in real estate accounting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong understanding of GAAP guidelines.
• Real estate accounting experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounting including billing and financial statements.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee organizational cash flow forecasting.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and accounting filing system.
