Our client, a growing and well-established real estate investment and development company, is seeking a Real Estate Accountant to join their team. This is a newly created position driven by the company’s continued growth and long-term expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting for real estate properties including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations
Maintain property-level financial records and assist with month-end and year-end close
Prepare financial reports and property performance analysis for internal stakeholders
Collaborate with asset management, development, and property management teams
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support external audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1+ years of accounting experience (real estate industry experience a plus)
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Excel; experience with property management/accounting software a plus
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
