Job summary

CalPortland is seeking a Ready Mix Plant Manager to oversee daily operations of a concrete plant in our network. You will manage scheduling, batching quality, inventory, and equipment reliability while ensuring safety and environmental standards.

Lead staff, coordinate with dispatch, sales, and maintenance teams, and track KPIs to optimize productivity and reduce costs. You will drive continuous improvement, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in a safety-first

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete or construction materials
• Supervisor or leadership training
• Mechanical or maintenance aptitude
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the ready-mix concrete plant
• Manage production scheduling, batching, and quality control
• Monitor and maintain raw material and finished product inventory
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Lead, train, and mentor plant staff and production crews
