Job summary

Texas Materials, A CRH company, is seeking a dependable Plant Maintenance Laborer to support daily plant operations at the Jasper, Texas site. The role focuses on maintenance, housekeeping, equipment operation, and safe work practices.

You will work with production and delivery teams, perform preventative maintenance, follow safety policies, and help maintain a clean and efficient plant environment. Strong reliability and physical ability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license meeting state requirements.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Two years of related maintenance, construction, or industrial experience (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (preferred).
• Experience operating loaders, skid steers, or similar equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily plant maintenance and preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain plant cleanliness and complete routine housekeeping duties.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to plant leadership.
• Assist with general labor tasks and operate small power tools as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support coworkers and assist with additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
