Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking a seasonal truck driver in North Dakota. You will operate a truck with an auxiliary concrete mixer, perform daily inspections, and deliver concrete to job sites while maintaining safety and accuracy in load handling and paperwork.

The role demands a CDL Class B or higher and at least two years of driving experience. Overtime, some nights and Saturdays may be required, with good communication and customer relation skills emphasized.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license with two years truck driving experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, possible nights and some Saturdays.
• Deliver concrete and perform daily truck inspections and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily truck inspections and report needed repairs.
• Daily maintenance of equipment.
• Drive truck equipped with auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites.
• Recognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment.
• Clean and maintain truck.
• Ensure proper loading and adjusting of ready mix to proper slump.
• Make contact with customer on job site for unloading instructions and secure signature on load invoice.
• Ensure proper use of truck tracking software.
• Be able to work without direct supervision.
• Report information accurately and completely on daily time cards and other needed paperwork.
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with people under high stress situations.
• Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; maintain positive customer relations.
• Maintain proper information in truck cab and perform daily housekeeping in truck cab.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1. A CDL Class B license or higher with two years truck driving experience.
2. Ability to hold and maintain proper licensure, medical card, and acceptable driving record.
3. Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, possible nights and some Saturdays.

Compensation

$29.00 - $35.00/Hour, depends on experience
