Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to safely operate concrete mixer trucks and deliver loads to commercial and residential sites. The role involves navigating varied terrain and handling extension chutes up to fifty pounds.

You will follow safety protocols, ensure on-time deliveries, and coordinate with dispatch while maintaining the truck’s upkeep and presenting a professional image on site.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B) required.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction and transportation.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow supervisor guidance.
• Knowledge of basic truck maintenance (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and regulations to promote a safe work environment.
• Deliver concrete loads to commercial and residential job sites on time.
• Adapt discharge methods to various site settings.
• Attach and manage extension chutes as needed for accurate pouring.
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the ready-mix truck.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional image.
• Coordinate with dispatch and team members for efficient operations.
