Job summary

We are seeking a responsible Ready-Mix Driver to operate the concrete mixer and deliver loads to commercial and residential sites in Glendale, AZ. The role involves navigating varying conditions and may require handling extension chutes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Key responsibilities include safe weather- and site-aware deliveries, maintaining truck cleanliness and readiness, and collaborating with dispatch to meet scheduling requirements. A valid CDL A/B and a clean driving history are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B) with FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance.
• English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
• Clean driving record: no DUI/DWI in last 5 years and ≤3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for construction and transportation; follow supervisor guidance.
• Desirable knowledge of traffic routes and basic truck maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to regulations and promote a safe environment.
• Delivery & Timing: Ensure safe, timely delivery of loads to job sites.
• Discharge Management: Adapt discharge methods to site conditions.
• Extension Chute Handling: Attach and manage extension chutes as needed.
• Truck Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the truck.
• Customer Service: Provide professional service and image for the company.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with dispatch and other team members.
