Job summary

Superior Ready Mix is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to transport freshly mixed concrete from the batch plant to job sites in a safe manner. The candidate should have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma/GED.
Must have current Commercial Class A or B driver's license with air brakes and tank endorsement.
Previous ready-mix driving experience required.
Safe driving record (DMV H-6) with limited violations in past 36 months; no serious moving violations past 3 years.
Must have a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate.
Ability to read a map and understand verbal and GPS driving route instructions.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections.
Deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites.
Operate a multi-axle mixer truck safely, obeying all traffic laws.
Clean and wash vehicle and remove concrete buildup on exterior parts.
Work according to customer demands.
Operate a radio to communicate with company personnel.
Adhere to safety regulations including company policies, state, and federal regulations.
Report all incidents/injuries to management.
Attend safety meetings as scheduled by management.
