Job summary

Todd's Redi-Mix Concrete is seeking an on-site delivery driver for ready-mixed concrete, with a focus on safety and customer service. You will operate a concrete mixer, perform pre/post trip inspections, and maintain documentation in line with DOT rules. Training to obtain a CDL is available for qualified candidates.

This full-time seasonal role offers 10-hour workdays, potential overtime, and a profit-sharing style benefits package including healthcare and retirement options.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer to deliver ready-mixed concrete to residential and commercial locations.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with proper documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain positive customer relations during delivery and service.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance; refer major problems to supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY

This skilled position involves the safe and efficient operation of a commercial motor vehicle (concrete mixer) to deliver ready mixed concrete to locations both residential and commercial. During delivery, the driver will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations. The driver is expected to perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company and DOT regulations. The driver will also perform minor servicing and maintenance with major problems being referred to immediate supervisor. Todd's Redi-Mix is willing to train qualified drivers to assist in obtaining a CDL.

This position is full-time seasonal (weather permitting). Workdays are generally 10 hours in length and may require overtime and half day Saturdays.

WAGE/SALARY

• $25.00 - $32.00 depending on experience
