Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is hiring a Line of Business: Aggregates Ready Mix Driver II in Kentucky's northern region. You will safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck, deliver to customer job sites, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance and product quality.

This role requires a valid CDL, strong safety mindset, and the ability to communicate with dispatch and customers. You will work with limited supervision and contribute to efficient, reliable service in a fast-paced

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a ready mix concrete truck to deliver products to customer job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
• Load, transport, and discharge concrete while maintaining product quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to support efficient operations.
• Maintain a professional, safety-focused approach while representing the company in the field.

What Are We Looking For

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a safe driving record.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles and perform vehicle inspections effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Capability to work independently, adapt to changing schedules, and perform physical job tasks.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

What We Offer

$22.32 to $26.20 per hour.
