Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Ready Mix Driver II to safely operate a ready-mix truck and deliver concrete to customer job sites on schedule. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, coordinate with dispatch and customers, and maintain delivery records with a strong emphasis on safety and professional conduct.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites on schedule.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel to coordinate deliveries.
• Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain required records.
• Promote a culture of safety while providing exceptional customer service and representing the company professionally.

What Are We Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and ability to maintain a safe driving record.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and responsible vehicle operation.
• Ability to operate equipment efficiently and perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing schedules, and perform physical job duties as required.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
