Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southeast Agg LLC is seeking a Line of Business: Aggregates Ready Mix Driver I to safely operate a ready mix truck and deliver concrete to customer job sites on schedule. You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload concrete, and coordinate with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth deliveries.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely operate a ready mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites on schedule.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
• Load, transport, and unload concrete while maintaining product quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic regulations, and company policies.

What Are We Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a safe driving record.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles and perform vehicle inspections.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Capability to work independently, manage delivery schedules, and adapt to changing priorities.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

$20.60 to $25.67 per hour

• Candidates with one year or more of RMC experience are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days of successful employment.
