Job summary

McCody is seeking a CDL driver to operate ready-mix trucks and deliver concrete to customers in Williston and surrounding areas. You will ensure safety, provide excellent service, and communicate delivery status and equipment needs to the plant manager.

The role requires a valid CDL (A or B), a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. Pre-employment checks apply; work schedule includes evenings and overtime during peak seasons with full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Valid class A or B CDL with a clean driving record (3 years for insurance).
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
• Knowledge of ready-mix properties and Williston area recommended.
• Customer-service oriented and reliable with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready mix truck.
• Deliver ready mix concrete to customers in Williston and surrounding areas.
• Provide an excellent customer service experience.
• Communicate with plant manager regarding delivery status, product quality, customer relations, and equipment performance.
• Assist in precast production as needed.
• Maintain equipment daily; document repairs requiring technicians.
• Complete CDL-related documentation (IFTA, inspections, etc.).
• All other duties assigned.

Job description

Schedule:

• Winter Season: Monday-Friday, 20-40 hours/week
• Construction Season: Monday-Saturday,Potential 5-10+ hours overtime
  

Duties:

• Safely operate a ready mix truck
• Deliver ready mix concrete to customers in Williston and surrounding areas
• Provide an excellent customer service experience
• Communicate with plant manager regarding delivery status, product quality, customer relations, and equipment performance
• Aid in precast production as needed
• Maintain equipment daily; document, communicate with, and follow up on repairs requiring technicians
• Complete legal documentation associated with CDL positions (IFTA, Inspections, etc.)
• All other duties assigned
  

Experience/Skills:

• 2 years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of ready mix properties
• Knowledge of the city of Williston and surrounding areas, ability to follow directions
• Customer service oriented
• Basic mechanical knowledge

Requirements:

• 21+ years of age
• Must have a valid class A or B drivers license with a 3 year clean driving record for insurance purposes
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required
